Peermusic Nashville is expanding its Creative team, and it has tapped publishing executives Matt Michiels and Kendall Lettow as Senior Creative Director and Creative Manager, respectively, as announced today by Michael Knox, Vice President, peermusic Nashville.

Appointing gifted and gifted creative executives is an increasingly important part of ensuring this standard, and I’m very happy to welcome Matt and Kendall into our staff.”
Michiels began his career working part for Song Garden Publishing, Gallimore Productions & founded by producer Byron Gallimore. There he helped by Jo Dee Messina, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. This resulted in an opportunity to join Warner/Chappell Nashville from 2004 as Production Manager in which he handled all elements of the catalogue for the pub business’s authors and A&R staff. On the next 13 and half years that his character expanded greatly to include song pitching, graphic design for advertising, pitching for film and television, and consulting for the growth of Warner/Chappell’s global creative technology alternatives. Matt has secured reductions with Ashley Monroe, Dustin Lynch, Michael Ray, Jason Aldean, Ryan Hurd, and Lindsay Ell amongst others. He’s a native of Meridian, Mississippi and also holds a B.A. in Music from The University of Alabama.
Lettow holds a degree from the Recording Industry Management program at Middle Tennessee State University and has worked at the Nashville music publishing area for eight years working at the Deadly sections of Kobalt Music, Still Working Music, and THiS Music where she handled authors and pitched tunes, landing song placements with leading label nation musicians. Most lately, Lettow maintained a creative position at the publishing firm MV2 Entertainment.
Peermusic Nashville’s office is directed by Michael Knox — a music industry veteran who understands a thing or two about building a hit. Knox has 20 tunes under his belt over 18 million albums and 40 million singles, as a manufacturer. Along with discovering Jason Aldean, being a leading publisher and with an artist management business, Knox’s production credits include Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Trace Adkins, Montgomery Gentry, Kelly Clarkson, Ludacris, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Frankie Ballard, Josh Thompson, Tyler Rich, Michael Tyler, as well as the late, legendary Buddy Knox, who is also his dad. Knox has also served on the ACM Board of Directors (current), CMA Board of directors and GRAMMY Special Committees.
Country music pioneer, Jimmie Rodgers, was one of the very first authors signed into peermusic back in 1927 by the company founder Ralph S. Peer and could later become one of the very first actors inducted to the Country Music Hall of Fame.
